The Brooklyn Nets have lost four in a row and have struggled to a 3-9 start this season.  The Nets will have to try and break the losing streak  today against the Detroit Pistons without four of their key players.

Rotoworld.com reported a tweet from Tim Bontemps, Brooklyn Nets beat writer for the New York Post on the status of the Nets' injuries.

Deron Williams is listed as day-to-day but after displaying a noticable limp on Friday, will undoubtedly play it safe.  He may be ready to return on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors.  Williams has played only 18 minutes in the last five games, missing three of them.  In nine games this season, he is averaging 9.3 points and 6 assists per game. Those numbers are well below his career averages of 17.7 points and 8.9 assists per game.

Brook Lopez has missed the last four games with an injured ankle. He last appeared on November 15 against the Suns.  He's been stellar when able to play averaging 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 30.5 minutes per game.  The six-year veteran out of Stanford has career averages of 18 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
