Bucs' Darrelle Revis blacked out "for a second"

By on 12/06/2013 02:00:00 PM

Tampa Bay cornerback Darrelle Revis has returned to Buccaneers practice this week after being forced to leave Sunday's game with a chest/shoulder injury. Revis addressed the injury in front of the media, and as the Tampa Tribune's Roy Cummings notes, what he revealed was a little alarming.
It's easy to see why there was concern initially that the injury might be much more severe than it turned out to be. By Monday afternoon, the team was optimistic that it wasn't anything serious, though the blacking out may suggest otherwise.

Revis has been practicing in full all week and it's looking more than likely that he will be able to start Sunday against the Bills. More questionable now is whether Revis will be able to finish the game, having been forced to exit early each of the last two games due to unrelated injuries.
