Falcons' Roddy White limited by a knee injury

By on 12/12/2013 04:00:00 PM

Falcons receiver Roddy White has been a limited participant in practice this week, after a knee injury has surfaced, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure.
White has battled injuries all season and was forced to miss three games in 2013, the first game action he's missed in his nine seasons in the NFL.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez has also been limited, but it's purely precautionary, as he's been able to play with an injured toe for weeks.

After a pretty ineffective first eight games of the season, Roddy White has picked up the pace in the last two games. White has nearly doubled his season output in receptions and receiving yards in December, with 18 catches for 217 yards in two contests. He's still struggled to find the goal line and has just one touchdown reception this year.
