Grizzlies' Zach Randolph out in Saturday's loss to the Nets

The Memphis Grizzlies were without starting power forward Zach Randolph during Saturday's 97-88 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. The loss dropped the Grizzlies to 8-8 and 4th place in the Southwest Division.

Rotoworld.com reported a tweet by Stefan Bondy before the game, who covers the Nets for the New York Daily News.
The injury, an ingrown toenail, came out of nowhere.  Randolph has been stellar this season averaging 16 points and 9.1 rebounds, in nearly 32 minutes per game. He's averaged over 35 minutes over his last ten games without any problems.

Ed Davis, in his 4th season out of North Carolina, started in place of Randolph and had 10 points and 8 rebounds, in 29 minutes.  Davis started 28 games last year and averaged over 12 points and nearly 8 rebounds in those starts. Expect Davis to continue to start should Randolph miss any more games.

Randolph is in his 13th season out of Michigan State.  In 781 career games with the Portland Trail Blazers, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers and Grizzlies, he is averaging 17.1 points and 9.3 rebounds.
