At #Hawks practice....Guard Kyle Korver will not play tonight against the #SpursThe Hawks did not start a shooting guard on Saturday night in a 108-101 loss to the Washington Wizards. The only shooting guard to see playing time was John Jenkins, who made the only shot he attempted in 21 minutes of action.

The Hawks miss the outside scoring threat that Korver provides. The sharpshooter is hitting 50 percent of his 3-point attempts and 51.7 percent overall from the floor. He's also a 92.3 percent free throw shooter. In 33.5 minutes per game, Korver is averaging 11.7 points and 4.2 rebounds.
Lou Williams is also battling injuries, having played in only one of the last three games and only five games this season. With Korver and Williams out, other players such as Jenkins and Shelvin Mack and Cartier Martin will have to pick up the slack.
Korver was the Nets second round draft pick in 2003 and has played for the 76ers, Jazz, Bulls and Hawks during his career. His best season was 2006-2007 when he averaged 14.4 points per game for the 76ers. Korver is a career 42 percent 3-point shooter and is averaging 9.7 points and 3 rebounds, in 753 games.
