After suffering a bruised left knee, Knicks guard Iman Shumpert is now being called a "game time" decision for Friday night's game against the Boston Celtics.

Shumpert banged knees with Mike Dunleavy during Wednesday night's win over the Chicago Bulls.

Ian Begley of ESPN New York first tweeted Shumpert was listed as day-to-day after bruising his surgically repaired knee.
Jonah Ballow of took to his twitter early Friday to report Shumpert participated in shoot around and that head coach Mike Woodson called him a "game time" decision for their face-off in Boston.
After a solid sophomore season, many believe Shumpert is failing to improve as a player and adding to the Knicks list of issues the season. He is averaging 7.3 points a game on 40 percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.

Many also believe the Knicks are looking to trade Shumpert as there have already been many rumors surrounding Shumpert in trade talk.

With the Knicks trying to claw their way out of the bottom of the Eastern Conference, there's no doubt Shumpert's injury could hurt the team even more; and could affect their plans to trade him deepening not he severity of the injury.
