Nuggets' Kenneth Faried goes through much of practice

The Denver Nuggets lost to the Golden State Warriors on Monday by the score of 89-81. It was the Nuggets' fourth consecutive loss to drop the team to 14-13, 3rd in the Northwest Division. They played without forward Kenneth Faried who has been dealing with a sprained left ankle.  But there could be good news regarding Faried.

Chris Dempsey, NBA writer for the Denver Post, tweeted the following on Faried's status.
The Nuggets started J.J. Hickson at power forward and used Darrell Arthur off the bench in Faried's absence.  Hickson had seven points and eight rebounds, in 26 minutes. Arthur added two points, five rebounds and two assists, in 22 minutes.  When Faried returns to the lineup, expect Arthur to be the odd man out in the rotation.

There is no word as of yet on Faried's status for tonight's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Faried is in his third NBA season out of Morehead State.  Last season, he started all 80 games he played and averaged 11.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. In 26 games this season, Faried is averaging 9.8 points and 8 rebounds per game.
