The Packers will be without Aaron Rodgers again this week as they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Though he looked good in practice, the team doctors decided that it would be best not to let him return. It is likely that if the Packers were not in the playoff race, Rodgers would have already been placed on Injured Reserve.
In other news, both defensive end Johnny Jolly (shoulder) and tight end Brandon Bostick (foot) are also out for the game and neither of the two practiced this week. DE C.J. Wilson was limited in practice and remains questionable for the game.
Defensive tackle Ryan Pickett (knee), linebacker Brad Jones (ankle), runningback Eddie Lacy (ankle), DE Mike Neal (abdomen), and linebacker Nick Perry (foot) have also been limited in practice but are probable to play Sunday.
The next two games are must-wins for the Packers if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. The same is true for the Bears and Lions in a very tight NFC North race.
