By on 12/24/2013 03:35:00 PM

Grievances. Suspension. Tommy John Surgery. The last season have been anything but uneventful for left-handed pitcher Jordan Norberto despite a lack of action on the field. According to his personal Twitter account, the Dominican announced that he has agreed to terms on a Minor League deal with the Tampa Bay Rays.

Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Examiner later spoke to the 27-year old, detailing the specifics of his contract, recovery, and future suspension from his connection with Biogenesis.

Norberto last made his impact felt in 2012, as a member of the Cinderella Western Division Champion Oakland Athletics. In 52 innings of relief,  he pitched to a 2.77 ERA with 8 K/9 and 3.8 BB/9.
