Seahawks injury report: Percy Harvin and K.J. Wright OUT for Sunday

By on 12/21/2013 07:00:00 AM

The Seattle Seahawks are surprisingly healthy heading into the last two games of their regular season, according to their official web site. The offensive line is healthier than ever with the return of tackles Russell Okung and Breno Giacomini. Unfortunately, they will still have two superstars sidelined this week as wide receiver Percy Harvin and outside linebacker K.J. Wright are both struggling with injuries.

Harvin has received the most attention so far as he is still attempting to recover from the hip surgery he had this preseason. It remains a likely possibility that he will not see the field during the regular season after re-aggravating his injury against the Minnesota Vikings in his Seahawk debut.

Wright, on the other hand, was making a name for himself this year as an up-and-coming superstar at the outside linebacker position for Seattle’s notorious defense until he was sidelined by a broken foot two weeks ago against the 49ers. He will also likely remain sidelined until the playoffs. Third-year linebacker Malcolm Smith, a former USC product, will start for Wright in the meantime.

Here is the Seattle Seahawks practice participation and game status reports according to their official web site:
