Stastny continued right where he left off. In his return, he got two assists and three shots on goal in his 17:54 TOI. That gives him 11 points in his last six games played.

For the season, the 28-year-old now has 13 goals, 23 assists, and is a plus-10. He's currently second on the team in assists, and tied for second with Gabriel Landeskog in points.

The Avalanche are currently third in the Central division and have a comfortable lead from the fourth place Minnesota Wild. In rookie head coach Patrick Roy's debut season, the Avalanche are currently surprising many people with their great season. Stastny is having a great season and is a big part of their success. The team is obviously pleased he didn't have to miss too many games.
