Boston Bruins Twitter announced that forward Loui Eriksson has been cleared for contact. Eriksson recently suffered his second concussion of the season. His most recent concussion was on December 7th after a hit from Pittsburgh Penguins Brooks Orpik. This concussion came not even two months after the second concussion.
Coach Claude Julien has told the media today, “doubtful for tomorrow” since today was first day of contact, but doesn’t think it will be very long before his return.
Eriksson has only played twenty-four games this season. He has five goals and nine assists and averages over fifteen minutes of ice time per game.
