Chiefs at Colts: Chiefs hope to end playoff drought

By on 1/02/2014 11:30:00 AM

Kansas City Chiefs (11-5) @ Indianapolis Colts (11-5) (Saturday Jan. 4, 4:35 PM ET)

*Line: Colts -3

The Chiefs and Colts faced off against each other week 16 and the Colts won 23-7. I expect to see different results this game and predict a much better match up. The Chiefs will be getting pro bowl linebackers Justin Houston back from his elbow injury and they will finally have the dynamic duo of Houston and Tamba Hali to rush the quarterback and get after Andrew Luck. Along with Houston, wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been cleared to play after suffering a concussion two weeks ago.

The Colts are without Reggie Wayne who tore his ACL earlier in the season, but you can't count out Andrew Luck who can beat you with his legs and his arm. The Chiefs will need to contain Donald Brown, who had a big game against them two weeks ago. The Chiefs defense needs to also focus on T.Y Hilton who is always a threat to take a play to the house. I think we see a heavy dose of Jamaal Charles for the Chiefs and they contain Luck for the 24-20 win to end their playoff drought.

You can also vote for who you think is going to win here along with the rest of the NFL Sports Injury Alert staff.
