The Colts had three players suffer day-to-day injuries in last week's season finale against Jacksonville, paving the way for some early week anxiety. Aubrayo Franklin, Vontae Davis, and Bjoern Werner are all listed as questionable on the report, but are expected to play.
The Colts' secondary has suffered a litany of injuries this season, rarely allowing the unit to gel with varying personnel starting each week. There will be communication issues, but they will be at full health against an average Kansas City passing attack.
Greg Toler and Darius Butler will join Davis at the cornerback position, with Butler's playoff experience surely factoring into the ever-important matchup.
Wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey was limited in practice earlier this week with a hamstring injury, but has practiced since, and is expected to play. Heyward-Bey has received a ton of criticism of late, being touted as a bigger bust than even Trent Richardson.
The only player that did not participate in today's practice was backup defensive tackle Fili Moala. He is working through a knee injury, with his status for tomorrow's game undecided. While Moala is a reserve player, his health is an issue with defensive linemen Franklin and Cory Redding working through injuries.
