Raptors' Tyler Hansbrough out in loss to Celtics

The Toronto Raptors lost to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday by the score of 88-83.The win snapped a three-game winning streak and dropped the Raptors to 19-18, four games ahead of the Brooklyn Nets in the Atlantic Division.  The Raptors were once again without power forward Tyler Hansbrough.

Amir Johnson and Patrick Patterson continue to get the bulk of the minutes at power forward in Hansbrough's absence.  Johnson had six points and five rebounds before fouling out after playing 26 minutes.  Patterson had two points, four rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes. 

Hansbrough, the 13th pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers, has played in 28 games this season. He is averaging a career low 5.5 points per game.  His best season was 2010-2011 when he averaged 11 points on 46.5 percent shooting and 5.2 rebounds per game.
