Rockets' Chandler Parsons expected to play tonight vs. Celtics

By on 1/13/2014 01:32:00 PM

Chandler Parsons is expected to return to the floor for the Rockets tonight after being sidelined the last 3 games due to a sore hamstring, knee and calf according to the Houston Chronicle.

The third year forward out of the University of Florida has been frustrated about missing time with the team recently telling Jonathan Feigen of Ultimate Rockets, “I thought I would put an ice pack on it and be ready to go. This is getting really old.”

Parsons has improved his numbers across the board this season, upping his points per game (15.5 to 17.2) and field goal percentage (48.6 to 51.7) despite suffering a handful of injuries that have kept him out of 5 games already.

Houston will play against the Boston Celtics tonight at 7:30 and currently lead the season series
1-0.
