Spurs' Danny Green Leaves Game With Sprained Finger

By on 1/12/2014 08:46:00 PM

San Antonio Spurs' guard Danny Green left the game against the Timberwolves' and did not return. Instead, Marco Belinelli started the second half.
The shooting guard is out with a sprained left index finger, and nothing has been said about his availability next game.

After already having lost Manu Ginobili for a couple of games, the Spurs may also have to play without Green for a couple as well, depending on the severity of the injury. Down two shooting guards, the Spurs will have to rely on Cory Joseph and Marco Belinelli to fill in.

For the season, Green is averaging 7.6 points a game on a low 41.9% shooting from the field, well below his career-average. He is also grabbing 3.0 rebounds and dishing out 1.3 assists per game. He has yet to miss a game this season.
