Habs Bournival not cleared to skate

Montreal Canadiens Twitter page announced that Habs Michael Bournival is not yet cleared to start skating with the team following some minor post-concussion symptoms.

Bournival suffered a concussion back on February 6th during the game against the Vancouver Canucks when he was accidently clipped in the face with his teammates stick. He skated off the ice and did not return to the game.

Bournival did not travel with the team for the final game before the Olympic break. He stayed behind where he was further evaluated. It was announced by the team he is suffering from a concussion with minor symptoms.
He spent the week off and there was a report on Saturday that said the young player was feeling better and anxious to get cleared and be able to skate again. As of right now Bournival still has the red light and has missed two practices.

There is no word yet on when he will take the ice but for now since half his teammates are in Sochi the team does not seem to be worried. There is still a possibility that he can return when the team plays the Detroit Red Wings next week...only time will tell.
