The Denver Nuggets fell below the .500 mark with a 109-100 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Friday night. The loss was the second in a row for the Nuggets, who dropped to 22-23, fourth in the Northwest Division. The good news for the Nuggets is the expected return of point guard Ty Lawson, who has missed the last two games with a shoulder injury.

Rotoworld.com reported that Lawson said he will return to the lineup tonight versus the Los Angeles Clippers. He went through a light practice on Sunday without any issues.
"I have a better range of motion. Only a couple of things are limiting me right now, but other than that everything is cool."Randy Foye and Evan Fournier have been starting in the back court in Lawson's absence. Foye had 10 points and 16 assists in 43 minutes against the Raptors. Fournier had 18 points and six rebounds, but also turned the ball over seven times. Lawson's return will move Fournier back to the primary guard off the bench.
Lawson is in his fifth season out of North Carolina. The first round pick of the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2009 has played his entire career with the Nuggets. In 41 games this season, Lawson is averaging 17.9 points and 8.9 assists per game.
