Bobcats' Gerald Henderson is out the rest of the week

The Charlotte Bobcats defeated the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday by the score of 109-87. The win snapped a three-game losing streak and improved the Bobcats to 27-33, third in the Southeast Division. The Bobcats were lead by Al Jefferson, who had 34 points and eight rebounds. Charlotte was once again without guard Gerald Henderson, who missed his second straight game with a strained calf. It appears Henderson will be out a bit longer and will be re-evaluated next week

The official Twitter feed of the Bobcats reported the following on Henderson's status.
Gary Neal started in place of Henderson against the Heat on Monday, while Chris Douglas-Roberts got the start against the Pacers. Both should continue to get significant playing time in Henderson's absence. Douglas-Roberts had 12 points, three steals and three assists in 29 minutes against the Pacers. Neal added ten points and four rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench.

Henderson is in his fifth season out of Duke.  He averaged a career high 15.5 points on 44.7 percent shooting last season. Although his numbers are slightly down this season, Henderson is still averaging 14.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game this season.
