Cavaliers' C.J. Miles to return on road trip

By on 3/11/2014 12:00:00 PM

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost on Saturday against the New York Knicks with a final score 97-107. The loss brought the Cavaliers to 24-40. They are in 4th place in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers are scheduled to travel to Arizona tomorrow to take on the Phoenix Suns.

On February 19th, while the Cavaliers faced the Orlando Magic, guard C.J. Miles went to the locker room after shooting a pair of free throws. It was advised he had a left ankle sprain. He has been out ever since.

Rick Noland via the Medina Gazette reported that Miles quotes,

“If not the first game, I’m sure I’ll be able to play on this trip the way I’ve been feeling the last couple days,” Miles said. “My biggest thing is as anxious as I am, not to overdo it.
“I’m going crazy,” he added. “My life is in shambles. I’m walking around ready to pull my hair out. Obviously, I want to be able to help my team.”

C.J. Miles was drafted by the Utah Jazz in the 2005 NBA draft and was selected as the 4th pick of the 2nd round. Miles has a career average of 8.9 points and 1.2 assists per game. This year he is averaging 10.1 points and 1.0 assists per game.

Fantasy Analysis (Fanduel Scoring): With Miles return, it is unknown if he will fall back into the starting line-up. If this is the case, Jarrett Jack will now take a trip back to the bench. Dion Waiters would lose some production time, as he would also come off the bench. My best fantasy advice is to wait for a confirmed depth chart to come out of Cleveland before using any Cavs not named Irving, Varejao, Thompson, or Hawes.
