INJURY UPDATE: Zac Rinaldo will not be in the lineup tonight vs. New Jersey. He is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
— Philadelphia Flyers (@NHLFlyers) March 11, 2014
Rinaldo just recently returned from an ankle injury that kept him out of action for about three weeks. Since this is being reported as an upper-body injury, it most likely is not related to the ankle injury that was supposed to keep him out for six weeks.![]() |

However, it's still unknown how and when he sustained this upper-body injury and how long it will keep him out of the lineup.
Rinaldo has been a non factor for the Flyers this season, producing just one goal and one assist over 54 games, to go along with 117 penalty minutes and a minus-12 rating.
Zac is very good in the roll he plays with the Flyers. He is great with the hits and draws penalties. He has more skill and heart than you give him credit for. Also, you neglectedto mention his one goal was a Game Winning Goal, when the Flyers we're pretty terrible. He's a mouthy adjatator, and not a brawler as everyone thinks.
