Nuggets' Kenneth Faried ready to go tonight against Timberwolves

Denver Nuggets power forward Kenneth Faried will be playing tonight against Minnesota after injuring his knee in Saturday night's game against the Trail Blazers, according to Aaron J. Lopez on Twitter.

As reported yesterday morning, Faried hurt his knee with less than two minutes to go in the fourth quarter against the Trail Blazers. During a collision, Faried got fouled by Wesley Matthews; he fell down landing awkwardly on his knee causing it to hyper-extend. He was in a lot of pain following the collision, but he walked it off and remained on the court until the end to game.

Along with Faried ready to go tonight, Wilson Chandler and Ty Lawson who has missed the last nine games with a rib injury will both play tonight. Giving the Nuggets fans some hope, as they finally begin to get healthy as the season reaches the final stretch.

Faried turns 25 this year, and is currently under contract throughout the 2015/16 when he becomes a restricted free agent.
