Pistons' Andre Drummond ruled out Wednesday night

Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond will not play on Wednesday night against the Nuggets, and is questionable for their Friday contest against the Suns, according to Dave Pemberton on Twitter.

As reported on Sunday morning, Drummond suffered a neck injury during the first quarter in their loss to the Pacers. Drummond was helped off the court and did not return. Tests were performed after the game and luckily for him he did not suffer a tear.

Expect the Pistons to play small against the Nuggets with Drummond out. Starting forwards Greg Monroe and Josh Smith will have to pick up a lot of the slack and more importantly a lot of the rebounds. The Nuggets are the second best team in the NBA in rebounding, and without their #1 rebounder - the Pistons will have their hands full.

Drummond is third in the NBA in rebounding behind DeAndre Jordan and Kevin Love.

The Pistons are currently five and a half games out of the playoff picture with a record of 25-41.
