Bobcats' Al Jefferson game-time decision tonight against Heat

By on 4/28/2014 07:00:00 AM

Charlotte Bobcats center Al Jefferson will be a game-time decision tonight in game four against the Heat, according to Rick Bonnell on Twitter. Bobcats coach Steve Clifford relayed that he won't know Jefferson's status until tip-off.

Jefferson has been struggling mightily of late with a torn plantar fascia in his left foot. In game three, Jefferson was limping up and down the court throughout the entire game and was in obvious pain. He scored 20 points and added five rebounds and three blocks in 30 minutes played.

With the Bobcats season on the line - down 3-0 against the Heat - Jefferson will likely suit up in what may be Charlotte's final home game this season.

In their three games against the Heat, Jefferson is averaging 18.7 points and 9.3 rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the field in 35 minutes per game.

If the Bobcats can some how mustard out an upset against the Heat tonight, game five will be played in Miami on Wednesday. And hopefully for Bobcats fans, Jefferson's condition will only improve, but right now it is looking very dim for Michael Jordan's squad.
