Bruins' Corey Potter injury update

By on 4/26/2014 09:00:00 PM

The Boston Bruins lost their defenseman, Corey Potter yesterday morning in practice during one of the drills along the boards.

Potter was working on contact and was pushing Daniel Paille into the boards when he awkwardly fell to the ice. He stayed down on the ice screaming in pain. Coaches and trainers rushed on the ice to help the defenseman off the ice and into the locker room.

There is no immediate update on Potter's injury status. He did not dress for game 5 against the Detroit Red Wings.

No update beyond the fact he hurt himself yesterday. Looked like his shoulder popped out to me RT @ddmatthews Haggs, any updates on Potter?

There is somewhat of good news coming out of today, he was seen walking around without a sling for his shoulder.

Corey Potter walking around up here on Level 9. No sling or anything after getting hurt in practice yesterday.
