Bruins' Dennis Seidenberg and Adam McQuaid start skating

Word on the street both Bruins' defenseman; Dennis Seidenberg and Adam McQuaid have started skating.

Dennis Seidenberg has been sidelined since late December with a torn MCL and ACL after getting tangled up with Cory Conacher in a game against the Ottawa Senators. Seidenberg underwent surgery for the torn muscles and his rehab time estimation kept him sidelined for the full regular season.

Even with him sidelined, Seidenberg has made progress and hit a new milestone when he skated in Ristucca arena in Boston. It was said he only skated for fifteen minutes. No words on how his knee held up...but it is a start for the defenseman.

Seidenberg is still quite awhile away from returning. If he were to return this season the team would have to make it very late into the playoffs. Even at this point it might be better to keep him skating. practicing and working out and let him return at the beginning of next season.

With Seidenberg slowly starting to was also good news for McQuaid who has not played since mid-January. He is suffering from a quad strain and was shut down for 2-3 weeks after his relapse in early March.

For both McQuaid and Seidenberg there is no timetable for their return. It could be at some point in the post-season or pre-season next year. Only time will tell but it is a good start to see them both slowly starting to get themselves into game shape.
