Bulls' Mike Dunleavy ready for Game 5 against the Wizards

The Chicago Bulls enter Game 5 of their first round series against the Washington Wizards in a 3-1 hole following a 98-89 loss on Sunday. Forward Mike Dunleavy, who scored 35 points in Game 3, injured his thumb in Game 4 and scored only six points on 3-of-8 shooting from the floor. The good news is that Dunleavy will be ready for Game 5 Tuesday night at the United Center.

K.C. Johnson, who covers the Bulls for the Chicago Tribune, tweeted the following, confirming Dunleavy's status.
Dunleavy suffered a bruised thumb on Sunday in the second half and didn't score before halftime.  He played 35 minutes so there wasn't much doubt that he'd play in Game 5 as the Bulls face a must win situation.  Should Dunleavy's thumb act up, expect Tony Snell, who had two points in 13 minutes on Sunday, to get extra minutes.

Dunleavy is in his 12th NBA season out of Duke. The veteran has played for the Warriors, Pacers, Bucks and Bulls.  In his first season with the Bulls, he averaged 11.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Dunleavy has career averages of 11.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
