The Boston Celtics snapped a nine-game losing streak on Friday with a 106-103 win over the Charlotte Bobcats. The win improved the Celtics to 24-55, fourth in the Atlantic Division. Point guard Jerryd Bayless suffered an injured knee during the game and did not return. With Rajon Rondo also out, Phil Pressey and Avery Bradley saw the bulk of the action in the back court.

The official Twitter account of the Boston Celtics confirmed Bayless' injury status.
Bayless had just two points, two assists and a rebound in 19 minutes at the time of the injury. Given that the Celtics' took only a very short amount of time time to rule Bayless out following the injury, it appears his status for tonight is doubtful.   Bradley had 22 points in 39 minutes, while Pressey addded 10 points, 13 assists and five rebounds in 38 minutes. Expect Bradley and Pressey to continue to handle the majority of the load in the back court against the Cavaliers tonight.

Bayless is in his sixth season out of Arizona.  The well-traveled veteran has played for the Trail Blazers, Pelicans, Raptors, Grizlies and Celtics.  In 71 games this season, he's averaging 9.4 points and 2.7 assists per game.
