The Los Angeles Clippers enter tonight's Western Conference first round playoff game against the Golden State Warriors tied one game a piece. The Clippers avoid dropping into a deep 0-2 hole by routing the Warriors by the score of 138-98 on Monday night. Jamal Crawford aggravated his calf injury during the second half of the game. The good news is both he and Chris Paul are good to go for Game 3.

Dan Woike,  who covers the Clippers for the Orange County Register, tweeted the following, confriming the status updates on Crawford and Paul.

Paul was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice and apparently avoided serious damage to his hamstring after tweaking it in Game 1.  With the Clippers at full strength for Game 3, one would think the Clippers have the upper hand to go ahead in the series.

Should Paul or Crawford need additional rest, expect Darren Collison and and J.J. Redick see additional minutes. Collison 12 points and ten assists in 21 minutes in Game 2, while Redick added nine points in 24 minutes.

Paul, in his ninth season out of Wake Forest, averaged 19.1 points, 10.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 62 games this season. In 617 career games with the Pelicans and the Clippers, Paul is averaging 18.6 points, 9.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game.

Crawford was the eighth overall pick in the 2000 NBA draft.  The veteran has played for the Bulls, Knicks, Warriors, Hawks, Trail Blazers and Clippers.  In 69 games this season, Crawford averaged 18.6 points, 3.2 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game.  Crawford has a career scoring average of 15.6 points in 957 games.
