Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade with miss his ninth straight game tonight as his Heat take on the Pacers, according to Shandel Richardson on Twitter. Wade has been hampering a hamstring injury and has shown no significant signs of returning to the court.

In his eight game absence, the Heat have gone 5-3. Expect Toney Douglas to likely get the start at shooting guard tonight with Ray Allen picking up a lot of minutes off the bench. The good news for Heat Nation is that Udonis Haslem is probable tonight after being sidelined recently with an illness.

Tonight will mark Wade's 28th missed game this season. And with only three games left on the schedule for the regular season (following tonight's game), that number is likely to stretch to 31. LeBron James will once again have to carry the team in their most important game to date, the winner of tonight's contest will likely take the first seed in the East.

The Heat are currently second in the Eastern Conference with a record of 53-25, half-a-game behind Indiana (54-25) for first place.
