The Orlando Magic lost to the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday by the score of 97-88. The loss was the second straight for the Magic, who fell to 23-57 on the season. The Magic were without center Nikola Vucevic for the fifth straight game and will miss the team's final two games as well. Dewayne Dedmon started for Vucevic and had two points, five rebounds and two blocked shots in 20 minutes of action.

John Denton, who covers the Magic for, tweeted the following on Vucevic's status.
Vucevic was building off a breakthrough sophomore season of 2012-2013 when his Achilles injury suddenly popped up on April 4. He was ruled out just moments before that game and cost him the remaining seven games of the season. Expect Dedmon to start the final games of the season against the Chicago Bulls on Monday and the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

The Magic will have one of the top picks in the 2014 NBA draft, but don't expect them to use it on a center. Vucevic is one of the better centers in the Eastern Conference and could be an All Star in the near future.  In 57 games this season, Vucevic is averaging 14.2 points and 12.9 rebounds per game.
