Magic's Nikola Vucevic out versus Wizards

The Orlando Magic defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday by the score of 115-111. The win was the second straight for the Magic, who are now 23-55 on the season. The Magic were once again without center Nikola Vucevic, who was out with a sore Achilles' tendon for the third straight game.  Dewayne Dedmon started at center and four points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots in 20 minutes.

Dan Savage, who covers the Magic for, tweeted the following on Vucevic's status.
Although it will be the fourth consecutive game Vucevic will miss, the Magic aren't shutting him down.  He will travel with the team for their games on Sunday and Monday against the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls. Expect Dewayne Dedmon to get the start again at center tonight.

Vucevic is in his third season out of UCLA.  After a slow rookie season with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2011-2012, he's developed into one of the better centers in the Eastern Conference. In 57 games this season, Vucevic is averaging 14.2 points and 11 rebounds per game.
