Nets' Shaun Livingston misses practice but will be ready for Game 3

The Brooklyn Nets enter Game 3 of their first round Eastern Conference playoff game against the Toronto Raptors tied at 1-1. The Nets lost Game 2 by the score of 100-95, but still have home court advantage. They have a chance to take control of the series with the next two games at home. There was some concern when point guard Shaun Livingston missed practice on Thursday due to an illness, but appears to be ready to play tonight.

Andy Vasquez, who covers the Nets for The Record, tweeted the following on Livingston's status.
Livingston is averaging 11.5 points in 28 minutes per game so far and should see plenty of minutes tonight.  Should Livingston need additional rest due to the illness,  Marcus Thornton or perhaps Jorge Gutierrez could see additional time at guard, or the Nets could go to a traditional two forward-center-two guard lineup.

Livingston was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2004. The well-traveled veteran has played for the Clippers, Thunder, Wizards, Bobcats, Bucks, Cavaliers, Wizards and Nets.  In 76 games this season, Livingston is averaging 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Livingston has career averages of  seven points, 3.4 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game.
