The Denver Nuggets lost in overtime to the Houston Rockets on Sunday by the score of 130-125. It was the second straight loss for the Nuggets, who dropped to 33-44 on the season. The Nuggets get a chance to avenge the loss when they face the Rockets tonight at the Pepsi Center. The Nuggets will be without guard Ty Lawson, who missed Sunday's game with an ankle injury.

Chris Dempsey, who covers the Nuggets for the Denver Post, tweeted the following from Nuggets coach Brian Shaw .
Shaw previously said it's not a big deal if Lawson rests the last five games of the season, since the Nuggets are long out of playoff contention. Aaron Brooks started for Lawson against the Rockets and will continue to do so in his absence. Randy Foye and Evan Fournier round out the Nuggets' back court trio.

Lawson is in his fifth season out of North Carolina.  In 62 games this season, he's averaging a career best 17.6 points and 8.8 assists per game.  In 341 career games, all with the Nuggets, Lawson is averaging 14 points and 5.9 assists per game.
