Clippers' Hedo Turkoglu out in loss to Warriors

The Los Angeles Clippers loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of their first round Western Conference Series by the score of 100-99. The loss moves the series back to the Staples Center for Game 7 on Saturday night. The Clippers were without veteran small forward Hedo Turkoglu, who injured his back in Tuesday's Game 5. His status for Game 7 is currently unknown.

Brad Turner, who covers the Clippers for the Los Angeles Times, tweeted the following on Turkoglu before yesterday's game.
Turkoglu suffered a lower back contusion during the third quarter of Tuesday's game when taking a charge from David Lee.  Turkoglu was in pain during the timeout following the injury and was helped back to the locker room.

Turkoglu has played for the Kings, Spurs, Magic, Raptors, Suns and Clippers during his 14-year NBA career. He averaged three points and 2.3 rebounds, in 10.3 minutes per game this season.  He's averaging 3.2 points in 8.2 minutes per game this post season.  In 935 career regular season games, Turkoglu is averaging 11.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
