Diamondbacks Injury Update: Aaron Hill exits game

Aaron Hill left the second game of yesterday's doubleheader early, as the Arizona Diamondbacks team account tweeted:
Hill went 1 for 3 in the second game before he was replaced at second base by Cliff Pennington, For the season, the All-Star second baseman is slashing .258/.313/.416 (OPS+ 99) with four homers and 23 RBI. The DBacks (20-32) spit the double header with the New York Mets (22-27).

Hill, 32, is in his tenth major league season as a shortstop/second baseman, with a career .273/.329/.434 line. He was originally the Toronto Blue Jays' first round draft pick in 2003, making his major league debut on May 20, 2005. The Jays traded him to the DBacks in August 2011 with John McDonald in exchange for Kelly Johnson. As a free agent in November 2011, Hill signed a five-year $46 million contract with Arizona that takes him though the 2016 season.
