Ducks' Mathieu Perreault misses Game 4

The Anaheim Ducks seem to have caught the injury plague. On top of injuries to starting goaltender Frederik Andersen and left winger Matt Beleskey (lower-body), 26 year-old forward Mathieu Perreault is out of the lineup for Game 4 on Saturday night.  Pulling Perreault was a game-time decision.

Eric Stephens of Orange County Register reports: reports that the Drummondville, Quebec native has been dealing with a "lower-body" injury since Game 6 of the Ducks' first round series win against the Dallas Stars.

The 6th round draft pick by the Capitals in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft had a career year this year, his first with the Ducks. In 68 regular season games with the Ducks he registered 43 points including 18 goals and 25 assists. In eight playoff games so far this year, he has registered two goals and two assists. Both goals came on the power play.
