As reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Andersen has been sidelined with a thigh bruise and although has improved, remained noncommittal about his status for tonight's game. He was limited in practice on Thursday and said he doesn't feel much discomfort.
“I’m not limping anymore. I’ve got a high tolerance for pain."Although not a force on the offensive end, Andersen has been stellar defensively, holding opposing players he guards to just 31.5 percent shooting from the floor.
Andersen is averaging 5.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game this post season. He averaged 6.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game during the regular season. In 596 career games, Andersen is averaging 5.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game.
