The Dallas Mavericks enter Friday's series against the San Antonio Spurs down 3-2 and in a must-win situation. The Mavericks lost on Wednesday by the score of 109-103, despite 28 points off the bench from Vince Carter and 26 points and 15 rebounds from Dirk Nowitzki. The was some concern as center Samuel Dalembert injured his ankle in the first quarter and played only 23 minutes. But all indications is he should be ready for Game 6.

Eddie Sefko at dallasnews.com reported that Dalembert's right ankle is sore, but he expects to play. He rolled his ankle in the first quarter, but had it re-taped and was able to return. It's unknown as to whether or not the sprained ankle hindered his play, as he finished with only two points, but had nine rebounds.

If Dalembert is limited, expect Brandan Wright to see extra minutes. Wright had four points, five rebounds, four blocks and three assists in 24 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.

Dalembert averaged 6.6 points and 6.8 rebounds in 80 games this season. In the post season, he is averaging 4.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. The 12-year veteran has played for the 76ers, Kings, Rockets, Bucks and Mavericks and has career averages of 7.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
