The New York Rangers welcome back Derek Stepan.  Stepan missed game four on Sunday night after having surgery to repair a broken jaw he received after a hit by ex-Rangers forward Brandon Prust.

Prust gave a delayed hit, resulting in a two game suspension. Stepan left during the game but later returned to finish. The next day it was said he had a broken jaw and needed surgery to repair the jaw.

He missed game 4 recovering from the surgery. He travelled with the team to Montreal and suited up for the fifth game. He played the game with a full face cage and was seen drinking from his water bottle with a straw. He scored two times in the 7-4 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.
So far in the post-season Stepan has 5 goals, 8 assists and averages about 18 minutes of ice time per game.
