The Portland Trail Blazers head into Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs down 2-0. The Blazers were blown out on Thursday by the score of 114-97. Facing a nearly must-win situation to avoid going into a 0-3 hole, the Blazers will be without point guard Mo Williams due to a groin injury.

Mike Tokito,  sportswriter for The Oregonian, tweeted the following on Williams' status.

Williams played only nine minutes in Game 2 and had four points on 2-of-3 shooting from the floor. Expect Damian Lillard, who had 19 points in 41 minutes in Game 2, to see the majority of the minutes at point guard.  Earl Watson will be the backup.

Williams averaged 9.7 points per game during the regular season and is averaging 7.4 points in eight post season games. The 11-year NBA veteran has career averages of 13.3 points and 4.9 assists in 709 regular season games.
