Mike Tokito, sportswriter for The Oregonian, tweeted the following on Williams' status.
TerryStotts says he anticipates Mo Williams won't play in Game 3 vs Spurs/Williams played only nine minutes in Game 2 and had four points on 2-of-3 shooting from the floor. Expect Damian Lillard, who had 19 points in 41 minutes in Game 2, to see the majority of the minutes at point guard. Earl Watson will be the backup.

Williams averaged 9.7 points per game during the regular season and is averaging 7.4 points in eight post season games. The 11-year NBA veteran has career averages of 13.3 points and 4.9 assists in 709 regular season games.
