Wilds' Charlie Coyle played with two separated shoulders

By on 5/17/2014 09:21:00 PM

The Minnesota Wild were eliminated in round two from the playoffs. After the exit is was announced that forward Charlie Coyle played through the games with two separated shoulders.

The 22 year old star showed his passion for the sport while playing through injuries. He did not play his best games (towards the end of the series) but now the reason is out and who could blame the guy? Most athletes would sit out and rest until they are 100% ready to return but Coyle fought until the end.

It was more noticeable towards the end of the second series when Coyle was giving up pucks, having trouble connecting passes and even had trouble stick-handling. No word on what will happen throughout the summer break, but he will be given the time to recover and come back strong next season.

In 13 playoff games, Coyle recorded 3 goals, 4 assists and 31 hits (3rd amongst Wild Forwards).
