Wizards' John Wall struggles in loss to Pacers

By on 5/12/2014 08:30:00 AM

The Washington Wizards fell to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday by the score of 95-92. The loss put the Wizards into a 3-1 hole in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinals series.  The Wizards face a must win situation on Tuesday when the series moves back to Indiana. Wizards' point guard John Wall, who injured his eye in Game 3, struggled in Game 4.  He made just 4-of-11 shots from the floor and scored just 12 points in the loss.

Rotoworld.com reported that Wall also turned the ball over five times in Game 4 and although it's not certain the eye injury contributed to his poor play, there is no way to sugarcoat his dismal 34.2 percent shooting from the floor during the post season.

Wall averaged 19.3 points, 8.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game during the regular season.  In eight games this post season, he's averaging 16 points, 7.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game.  The fourth-year guard out of Kentucky has career averages of 17.7 points and 8.3 assists per game.
