The 29-year-old, six year veteran, has a 45-54 record with a 4.29 ERA. Those are not great numbers, however, he has only been improving. This year he is 7-5 with a 3.62 ERA and a 1.161 WHIP, which makes him a reliable pitcher in the middle of the rotation. As long as he returns from his injury and stays healthy; he should remain in the starting rotation. The Orioles are optimistic he will make his next start.
