Injuries have not helped and now a fourth reliever is on the disabled list, with the addition of Josh Zeid, who is out with a foot injury.

As reported by Mike Vernon of, manager Bo Porter announced that Zeid was placed on the disabled list with bilateral sesamoiditis that has been bothering his foot.
"He's been dealing with some foot issues for a while. It was one of those things where he continued to try to push through it and try to push through it, but it started to affect his shoulder. We just got to the point where, after the doctors looked at it, the problems were getting worse."
Zeid, in his second Major League season, has struggled.  In 23 games, has a 6.97 ERA and has allowed 30 hits and six home runs in 20 2/3 innings.  Last season, Zeid appeared in 25 games and was 0-1 with a 3.90 ERA and has a career ERA of 5.21 in 48 games.
