Oakland Athletics slugging outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is recovering from injury and made his return on Friday. Key role players Kyle Blanks and Stephen Vogt are also recovering from injuries as reported by Jane Lee from

Yoenis Cespedes
The Cuban slugger's right thumb sprain kept him out of the lineup on Thursday. On Friday, the team welcomed him back to the starting lineup because the thumb was no longer causing him issues. Cespedes has batted .254 with 16 home runs and 62 RBI's this season with the Athletics.

Kyle Blanks
Blanks is stationed on the disabled list with a left calf strain and is still a week away from a rehab stint. The Athletics first basement will not be sent out for a rehab stint until the team is back in Oakland at the end of the month. He has been batting .309 with two home runs and seven RBI's over a total of 26 games with the A's.

Stephen Vogt
Vogt still remains unavailable behind the plate because of a right foot issue but will continue to see time at first base and as the teams designated hitter. He has been reliable over 41 games this season batting .361 with four home runs and 21 RBI's for the Athletics.
