Bills Injury Update: Scott Chandler injures groin

By on 7/27/2014 08:41:00 PM

The Buffalo Bills leading pass-catcher from a season ago is out indefinitely. WGR Bills Beat Reporter Joe Buscaglia reports Tight End Scott Chandler suffered a groin injury at Sunday's practice and did not return.

Chandler's injury thins out an already depleted Bills tight end corps. They lost Tony Moeaki and Chris Gragg earlier in the week. Moeaki injured a hamstring and Gragg is battling heat cramps.

Moeaki is expected to miss "significant" time with his injury, while Gragg is expected back sometime this week.

Chandler hurt himself in the first hour of practice. He did not return at any point.

He was the team's leading receiver last season, catching 53 passes for 655 yards.

  1. Moeaki is ALWAYS hurt. That"s why he never stays on a team.
