Brewers Injury Update: Ryan Braun returns to lineup

By on 7/10/2014 12:00:00 PM

After leaving Monday's game early and sitting out the next two days, Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Ryan Braun will start again Thursday says Tom Hardicourt, Brewers beat writer for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Braun sat out because of back soreness similar to what gave him trouble earlier in the season.

On Monday night, Braun left in the eighth inning for a pinch runner after he doubled. His limping after the hit prompted the change. The two days of rest were apparently enough for Braun to recover. See the complete Brewers and Phillies lineups here.

Braun is hitting .291/.342/.511 with 11 HR and 49 RBI in 69 games for the Brewers, who lead the N.L. Central by two games over the St. Louis Cardinals as play begins on July 10.
