Hanley Ramirez left Sunday’s game against the Cardinals in
the 9th inning due to being hit in the left wrist by a 99 MPH
fastball thrown by Trevor Rosenthal, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

Ramirez has missed time this year due to hamstring, hand, and back issues. He went 0-1 in Sunday’s game with 2 walks and 1 hit by pitch and scored a run.
In 2013, Ramirez hit for a line of .345/.402/.638 with 20
home runs, 57 RBI, 27 walks, 52 strikeouts, and a 1.040 OPS in 86 games. He
missed time last year due to a broken thumb, hamstring, and shoulder problems.
This season, Ramirez has a slash of .273/.372/.463 with 11
home runs, 49 RBI, 43 walks, 55 strikeouts, and an .836 OPS in 86 games.
